The survey of more than 31,000 clients across the UK also revealed that 40% found TaxAssist through our shop front presence.

Key statistics this year include:
- 50% said they ultimately chose TaxAssist for their accounting needs as it had a shop or office
- 40% found TaxAssist through our shop front presence
- 61% were attracted by shop proximity
- 85% of customers are highly satisfied, rating their experience 8,9 or 10 out of 10
- 71% agreed or strongly agreed that TaxAssist understands their business goals
- Clients responded positively to the new TaxAssist brand, with many selecting multiple descriptors, including professional (52%), modern (47%), and approachable (26%).
- 89% of respondents would recommend the service to a friend
“The report also highlights customer concerns about rising taxes and a desire for tax savings and business growth in 2025. 60% cited rising taxes as their top concern, followed by cash flow management and funding, indicating that clients will be relying on their accountants more than ever,” said Kelly.
“The feedback we’ve received will enable us to shape our client communications and services going forward and ensures, as a network, we maintain our market leading position. We’re proud of what we deliver to our network of accountants and the service that they in turn provide to their clients.”
