The NatWest EWiF Awards celebrate the achievements of women in the UK franchising sector, recognising exceptional innovation, leadership, and entrepreneurial spirit. This nomination highlights Hannah’s remarkable journey and her outstanding success in the franchise industry.
Hannah first joined TaxAssist Accountants in 2014 at the age of 24. Over the past decade, she has risen from Assistant Practice Manager to become a 100% shareholder of the business in 2023. Operating from four locations in Dalkeith, Leith, Fairmilehead, and Musselburgh, her business is on track to achieve £1m in turnover within the next few years.
“I’m thrilled to be a finalist in these awards,” said Hannah. “I’m incredibly passionate about supporting my clients, empowering my team, and encouraging other women in business. I genuinely love what I do, and every day presents new challenges and opportunities to grow.”
Hannah also shared her appreciation for the unique advantages of being a TaxAssist franchisee. “Being part of a franchise offers the best of both worlds – independence in decision-making while being supported by a fantastic network. The guidance from the franchisor, fellow franchisees, and staff members has been invaluable, and I love exchanging ideas and best practices with others in the network.”
