To mark International Women’s Day, TaxAssist Accountants celebrates the achievements of four talented women driving the global growth of the TaxAssist Accountants franchise.
In February 2022, Sarah Robertson was appointed as The TaxAssist Group UK Managing Director, in addition to her existing Group Director responsibilities.
With a vast knowledge of the network and the Support Centre operations, she has responsibility for the support, guidance and performance of the UK network of over 200 franchisees and 800 staff.
Sarah joined the TaxAssist Board in 2004 and has over 30 years' experience in marketing and advertising. For 12 years, Sarah led TaxAssist’s marketing strategy, brand development, shopfront growth and practice management and business development strategies. She then spent six years as Group Operations Director overseeing the operational overview of the UK network and the TaxAssist Training Academy to improve practice performance and profitability.
Alison McGinley is Managing Director of TaxAssist in Ireland, where she oversees the entire operation, from franchisee recruitment to driving brand awareness and client acquisition. In 2015, Alison was named ‘Irish Franchising Woman Of The Year’ at the Irish Franchise Awards.
Mandy Sigaloff, the Managing Director in Australia, has a background in marketing advertising and media and was named ‘Business Woman Of The Year’ in 2012 by online publication Dynamic Business. Mandy oversees the recruitment of new franchisees along with training and supporting the TaxAssist network in Australia.
TaxAssist Canada Managing Director, Rina Mancini, has worked within the financial services, franchising, and information solutions industries for over 25 years. Her role is to grow the franchise and oversee support for the network of franchisees.
A passionate advocate for fulfilling personal goals, Sarah is keen to encourage more women to reach their full potential and lead the way at Board level.
“It is fair to say women are not equally represented on Boards across the world, particularly in finance, however this is gradually changing. Talent will always shine through and this is something we are keen to nurture and champion, both within the Senior Management Teams across TaxAssist and among our female franchisees and their staff.
“I’m proud to work alongside a hugely talented team, which includes Alison, Mandy and Rina who all had extensive and wide-ranging careers behind them before joining TaxAssist Accountants and now use their accumulated skills to great effect within the franchise.”
