To gain the prestigious industry-recognised qualification, Richard spent two years studying all key aspects of franchise management through a series of franchise workshops delivered by Paul Monaghan DiFM QFP, of The Franchise Training Centre (pictured with Richard).
Richard said: “I’ve really enjoyed attending the workshops over the last two years, and honing my knowledge and expertise in an arena I am passionate about, having worked in the franchise industry for the last 10 years.
“My role at TaxAssist Accountants involves supporting both master franchisee and sub franchisees in Ireland and Australia, and the 11,000-word dissertation I had to write as part of my studies was on the subject of international franchising. The course has given me additional knowledge and confidence to complement my extensive practical experience, to ensure that I am delivering best practice at all times.”
Karl Sandall, Chief Executive Director of The TaxAssist Group, said: “I couldn’t be any prouder of Richard’s hard work and achievement, especially as he is one of just a handful of people in the UK to have been awarded this Diploma. This award complements the Qualified Franchise Professional qualification awarded to Richard in 2016 by the British Franchise Association.
“Richard is a fantastic exponent of franchising and the TaxAssist network, both in the UK and internationally, should feel safe in the knowledge that the support they are receiving is first class.”
